Front Office Team
Front Office / Insurance Coordinator
Interacting with our patients is the highlight of my day. I enjoy helping people get the dental care they need when they need it. Working individually with patients I help them understand and make the most of their insurance benefits. I handle their insurance claims and the associated paperwork, and I oversee patient accounts.
My husband Keith and I have been married for more than 35 years. He’s a building contractor. We have three adult children and eight grandkids who call me Mema. Our favorite times are with our grandchildren. We enjoy serving our community through our church, Calvary Presbyterian.
Working with a great team who come together to make sure our patients are smiling is rewarding. I wear a lot of hats in our office, all focused on making everything run smoothly. I greet and check patients in and out, handle scheduling, recall reminders, and updating patient records.
Our patients feel like a part of my family. It’s fun to watch the children grow up, hear about marriages and births, and celebrate achievements. I oversee the general flow and organization of our practice, and ensure everything moves smoothly so everyone can focus on what’s important: our patients! I cover all aspects of the front desk, answer the phones, and schedule visits. I also help patients make the most of their insurance benefits and review financing.
I have two children along with three dogs and two cats. They take up most of my free time. When I have spare time I enjoy reading, going wine tasting with friends, and traveling.
Living in this community and helping my friends and neighbors attain great oral health and smiles is rewarding. My work day focuses on customer service. I greet and check patients in and out, handle appointment recalls, and confirm visits. I also create insurance claims and develop treatment plans and estimates. Patients often have questions about their care options, so I review the doctors’ recommendations and discuss the financial aspects of treatment.
I’m happily married with three children. I love watching my sons play baseball, and watching and supporting my daughter who rides and shows cutting horses. As a family, we enjoy skiing, hunting, camping, and LOTS of baseball!
Dental Hygienist Team
Working individually with our patients is a joy. I love our conversations and what I learn from each person. As we talk about their life and hobbies, I gain insight into areas where they can make changes to improve their dental health. While I’m cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and performing periodontal maintenance, I educate my patients. I focus on changing habits, improving home dental hygiene routines, and making healthy decisions.
One of the best parts of my job is developing relationships with our patients. It is always fun to meet new people and get to know them, and it is just as enjoyable to strengthen friendships with established patients. Often, during visits we catch up on the latest news about families and activities. While I clean teeth, I educate patients about dental hygiene and changes they can make to keep their teeth and smile in excellent shape.
My husband Troy and I have been married for almost 20 years. We have two children. I love to travel and want to visit all of the National Parks.
The highlights of my day are the conversations with our patients. Everyone has fascinating stories to share and I love learning about their interests and families. Whether I’m chatting with a new patient or catching up with someone at a recall visit, we’re building a bond. I concentrate on helping people take control of their oral health. During cleanings and polishing I talk about home hygiene processes and establishing healthy habits.
My wife, Susan Jouflas, is a PAC in oncology and family practice. I taught Tae Kwon Do for 25 years, locally. Now I teach indoor cycling / spin classes. I enjoy golf, waterskiing, and snow skiing.
Watching a patient develop a healthier mouth and smile is a great experience. When people have good dental health their body is healthier, and when they have a healthy smile they feel more confident and better about themselves. I perform thorough dental cleanings and treat gum diseases, as well as assist with anesthesia. While I’m caring for patients I teach them about dental hygiene and the best way to keep their mouth and smile clean, healthy, and beautiful.
My beautiful wife Karen, who is also a dental hygienist, and I have been married for more than 30 years. We have a married daughter, twin sons, and a third son as well. Karen and I love hiking with family and friends. I enjoy golf, tennis, and singing.
We have the best patients. Each of them has interesting stories to share and I love when they talk about their families and lives. Because we care for patients of all ages my day is varied and wonderful. I help our patients keep their mouth and smile healthy and bright. By focusing on preventing dental disease and educating each patient about specific dental issues, I’m able to help each person attain optimal oral health and a great smile.
I’m married and have three daughters. We love living in the Pacfic Northwest and spending time outside. I enjoy boating, hiking, and skiing, and I love coffee and cheering at my kids’ sporting events.
Every day I meet interesting new people and renew friendships with patients I’ve seen before. Our conversations make the hours fly by as we talk and laugh together. Learning about a patient’s life and hobbies helps me understand their home dental hygiene routine and where they can improve. While cleaning a patient’s teeth I talk about their oral health and the best ways to keep their smile healthy and bright.
My husband Stan and I live in Buckley. Our daughter is attending PLU. We stay busy following her basketball schedule and enjoying the Husky football games.
Dental Assistant Team
It’s a pleasure to spend my days as a part of a team whose sole focus is delivering exceptional care. My work doesn’t feel like a job. I love the diversity of people we care for and hearing their stories and views on life. When I assist our doctors chairside and I’m a second set of hands for them. At the same time, I tell the paitent what we're doing, guiding them through the experience. I also assist the hygiene team when needed.
My husband Justin and I have two young children. When I'm not working I love being with my family. We enjoy the outdoors, sports, and anything that involves moving around.
My mission is to make sure patients feel comfortable and safe during their visits. I want them to know I am listening to them, I’m here to provide support and reassurance, and I can help them understand that we offer painless care. I work directly with patients, and prepare them to see the doctor. I explain what we’ll be doing and what to expect, and then sit chairside, to support them and the doctor. At the end of a procedure, I offer post-op instructions and answer the patient’s questions.
I’m married and have two beautiful daughters, two crazy dogs and two adorable cats. I enjoy running, biking, hiking, and staying fit. Road trips are one of my favorite activities.
Each of our patients has their own dental needs and goals. Some have dental anxiety too. I listen to our patients, reassure them the visit will be pain-free, and support them in moving through their worries. Our doctors provide gentle care that’s based on a person’s specific situation. That means each patient gets incredible care and results. I provide chairside assistance, sterilize equipment and tools, and assist at our front desk when needed.
My husband Anthony and I have been married for more than five years. We have a blended family of nine kids. I love to ride motorcycles, cook, garden, and travel. I also volunteer: feeding the homeless at the Tacoma shelter or wherever I’m needed.
I make sure every patient knows they’re in a safe place and ensure they are comfortable during their visit. Even the most worried person soon learns that we really do provide painless dental care, so they relax and actually look forward to visits! I prepare patients for procedures, make sure they’re comfy in the chair, and talk about what the doctor will be doing. Then I provide support by helping the doctor while keeping our patient updated on how everything’s going.
I’ve been married for more than 14 years. We have a daughter and a son who keep us busy, and we live on a small farm in Enumclaw. I enjoy camping as well as boating, crabbing, and shrimping.
Making our patients feel comfortable and valued during their visits is important. Our doctors and team are all committed to making this happen, because we genuinely care about people. I enjoy caring for friends and neighbors, helping them with their smiles. I provide chairside assistance with dental and orthodontic procedures. I also order office supplies and help with scheduling.
I was born and raised in Enumclaw, and still live in the area with my husband Zach and our dog, Brutus. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing golf.
I find a lot of personal fulfillment in helping people. Each of our patients has their own dental needs. Our doctors are very gentle and take their time to explain procedures. That helps patients learn they don’t need to worry. I help patients, making sure they’re comfortable in the chair and preparing them to see the doctor. I explain what we’ll be doing and answer questions. At the end of a visit I provide post-op instructions.
I lived in Enumclaw when I was younger, then moved to California with my family. I decided to return to Washington after college and now live in Buckley. I have a German shepherd, Stella, and enjoy painting, baking, camping, and staying active.
At our office we’re all about helping each patient achieve dental goals. Just like every smile is unique, so too is each person. Our doctors listen to each patient and develop custom care plans based on the person’s needs and smile dreams. I help our patients throughout their visit, explaining what the doctor will be doing while I prepare them for treatment. Then I assist the doctor while making sure our patient remains comfortable and relaxed.
I’m married and have a son and daughter. Outside work, I enjoy attending my kids’ soccer and basketball activities. I also love being with my husband Pete, and getting together with friends.
It’s a great feeling to work with my friends, all of us focused on improving our patients’ lives and oral health. Visiting with patients is always enjoyable. They really are some of the most interesting people! I help patients during their visits, preparing them for procedures and explaining what the doctor will do. Then I provide assistance, supporting the doctor and patient. I also assist our hygiene team, sterilize equipment, handle lab work, and scheduling.
